Architectural line type examples

We had a request about supporting line types for architectural drawing.

This is exactly the kind of custom brush set that is easy to create and customize in Sketchbook! Creating your own custom brushes with different nib shapes and spacing - and setting Rotate to Stroke if you prefer - are a great way to generate these effects.

This set has a few examples to get you started. You can duplicate the existing brushes and change the Shape and settings to create your own architectural line brushes.

Installation:

  1. Open the Brush Library

  2. Tap the upper right corner of the active brush set to access the menu

  3. Select Import Brush Set

  4. Navigate to the downloaded .skbrushes file

  5. Tap Open

Tip: the Cartoon scale pattern will tile seamlessly on the canvas.
