Mac App Store: When trying to renew SketchBook subscription, both the Restore and Activate buttons are not selectable

Are you having issues with restoring your subscription? In SketchBook, have you tried selecting My Account > Restore Subscription only to find you can’t select either the Restore or Activate buttons?

If so, please delete SketchBook (8.0.0) from the Applications folder. Install the latest version of SketchBook from the App Store if you cannot Restore or Activate your SketchBook subscription.

Mac OS X: Using Facebook to log into SketchBook on Mac OS X may freeze login window

Are you experiencing issues when logging into your desktop version of SketchBook on Mac OS X? Have you tried using the Facebook login method and the login window froze?

If so, do the following to create an Autodesk login to access your SketchBook Pro features.

1. Go to www.sketchbook.com.

2. Select LOG IN.


4. Use the same email address used for your Facebook account.

5. Log into www.sketchbook.com with a Facebook or Autodesk account.

6. When you log into the SketchBook app on Mac OS X, log into the app using your Autodesk account.

Windows: Script Error | An error has occurred in the script on this page (*.js)

When trying to login using the desktop version of SketchBook on Windows, you may get the following Script Error:

Open each of your installed browsers [ Firefox | Chrome Internet Explorer ] on your computer and delete, history, cache, basically everything, reboot your computer, and try to login to SketchBook again.

Windows: I am unable to sign into SketchBook Desktop v7 on Windows

For Windows users ONLY
When you sign into SketchBook and get a This Program Cannot Display The Webpage error message, this can indicate you’re missing a critical security setting in your Internet Properties. If you are not running Internet Explorer 7 or higher, it is possible you are affected.

Here’s what you can do:

  1. On your machine, go to your Start menu, select Control Panel > Internet Properties.
  2. Tap on the Advanced tab.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom and tap Use TLS 1.0 to add a check to enable it.
  4. Tap OK.

    Before you try installing SketchBook again, check to ensure your computer meets the minimum system requirements. If it doesn’t, sadly – you may need to check out this article.

SketchBook mobile: Do I need to log into the app to purchase Pro Tools?

SketchBook Pro Tools mobile pageNo, you do not need to create an Autodesk account or log into the app to make a Pro Tools purchase.

If you make an in-app purchase, you will be prompted to log in with your Apple ID or Google Play Store account credentials. The purchase will be entitled to your account and should be listed in your purchase history tab.

To buy the Pro Tools pack, in SketchBook, tap File icon in the SketchBook for mobile version > Store icon in the SketchBook for mobile version Store, and make an in-app purchase by selecting the button below.
