How to use Examples

Use Examples when you need some inspiration. The Examples tab is a great place to see how to build up a scene and what you can do with SketchBook Motion. See How to deconstruct scenes for more information.

I highly recommend you look at the layer structure and animation. Check out the animation controls, specifically the Advanced Controls to see how certain effects were created. You’ll get a better idea as to how and when to use masks. If you see something you don’t like, try to figure out how you would change it and make it better.

Accessing the Examples tab

  1. In the toolbar, select Menu icon in SketchBook Motion and select Gallery icon in SketchBook Motion to access the Gallery.
  2. In the Gallery, along the top of the scene, tap the Examples tab.
  3. Scroll through the example scenes and tap one you like to load the scene.
  4. Now, start poking around in the scene, turn things off, etc. to see how things work.
