How to change interface language settings

Is English not your native language? Do you wish you could change interface language settings, so you could use SketchBook without having to look up a word or translate an in-app message? You can. We want you to have the best experience and realize using SketchBook in your native language can give you that.

Changing your interface language settings on SketchBook for Desktop

For Mac users, SketchBook uses the language settings of your computer. If you want SketchBook to display a different language, you will need to change your computer settings.

For Windows users, if you want to change the language that is used for the UI, you can do this through the Preferences.

1. In the second menu, Edit, select the last option, Preferences.

2. In the first tab (General) of the window, select the Language option. It’s the option with the dropdown menu.

3. Select the language you want.

4. Tap OK.

5. Close SketchBook, then relaunch it. The language changes will now be visible.

Changing your interface language settings on iOS

If you would like to change the language used for your interface, do the following:

  1. In your iPad’s Settings, in the column to the left, select General.
  2. Scroll down the list in the right column to find and select Language & Region.
  3. Tap iPad Language, then select the language you want from the list provided.

When you open SketchBook again, the interface will be displayed in the language you selected. To change it back or to change to a new language, repeat these steps.

  1. If you would like to change the language used for your interface, do the following:
  2. In your device’s Settings, select General management > Language and input > Language.
  3. Select the language you want and save.

When you open SketchBook again, the interface will be displayed in the language you selected. To change it back or to change to a new language, repeat these steps.

Changing your interface language settings in SketchBook for Windows 10

  1. Select the Start button, then Settings > Time & language > Region & language.
  2. Select Add a language.
  3. Select the language you want from the list. Your download will begin immediately.

    To switch the input language you’re using in Windows 10, select the language abbreviation at the far right of your taskbar and then select the language or input method you want to use. You can also press and hold the Windows logo key and then repeatedly press the Spacebar to cycle through all your languages.
