Ink Update

Ink 1.0.1 update is now available on the App Store.

Since the introductory launch, we've received so much valuable feedback... a complete spectrum of comments and reviews that ranged from excited new users to those wanting more features and others that were just plain having a lot of issues with the app.  In this update, we focused on addressing the key bugs and problems that were getting in people's way.  As a result, 1.0.1 provides a smoother & overall improved experience.

A few drawings from members of the SketchBook team.

Key improvements include:

✓ Changes to render behavior improving workflow experience
✓ Background image fixes for device orientation and visibility
✓ Stroke quality improvements, particularly for the first two brushes.
✓ Fixed refresh issues where the display would not draw or update properly
✓ Fixed unexpected 'spikes' when drawing
✓ Saving to Photo Library now loss-less PNG format
✓ Fixed locking-up of Gallery after deleting drawings

All of the images in this post were created by members of the SketchBook team during the development process of 1.0.1.

START OF A SERIES - Lena Le, multimedia designer, cranked out dozens of stunning creations over the last two weeks.

Lena wasn't into version 1.0 of INK, but hasn't been able to put down 1.0.1. "I'm addicted.", she says, "The lines are so expressive. I love it."

Thanks to everyone for sending us feedback and posting reviews.  We are planning more updates, so stay tuned!
